Miracle Aquatics Policies

Shipping

Last Updated: September 2026

At Miracle Aquatics, the health and safety of our livestock is our priority. Live coral and livestock require special handling, packaging, and shipping procedures. Please review this policy carefully before placing an order.

Shipping Methods

All shipped livestock orders are sent via FedEx Priority Overnight or UPS Priority Overnight.

We do not require a signature upon delivery. Customers are responsible for monitoring their tracking information and ensuring that their shipment can be retrieved promptly after delivery.

While Priority Overnight is used for live shipments, carrier delivery times are estimates and may vary based on destination, weather, service interruptions, and other circumstances outside of Miracle Aquatics' control.

Shipping Rates

Our standard livestock shipping rates are:

Florida: $25 flat-rate shipping
Outside Florida: $50 flat-rate shipping
Orders of $399 or more: FREE shipping

Free shipping eligibility is calculated based on the qualifying merchandise subtotal after discounts and before applicable taxes.

Shipping Schedule

Live livestock is shipped Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday only.

We do not ship live orders Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Customers may select an eligible delivery date up to two weeks from the date of purchase.

Orders placed by 12:00 PM Eastern Time may be eligible for next-day delivery, provided the requested shipment date is available. Orders placed after the cutoff may be scheduled for the next available shipping date.

Selecting a requested delivery date does not override weather holds, carrier restrictions, holidays, or other circumstances that may make shipment unsafe.

Weather & Shipping Holds

Miracle Aquatics reserves the right to postpone a shipment when weather conditions, extreme temperatures, carrier disruptions, holidays, or other circumstances could place livestock at unnecessary risk.

When appropriate, shipments are packed using insulated packaging and temperature-control materials such as heat or cold packs.

We would rather delay an order than knowingly ship livestock under unsafe conditions.

Carrier Delays

Once a package has been transferred to FedEx or UPS, certain aspects of transportation are outside Miracle Aquatics' control.

Priority Overnight service does not guarantee that a carrier will never experience mechanical issues, weather delays, routing disruptions, or other service interruptions.

DOA coverage applies to livestock loss resulting from carrier or weather delays.

Shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

Providing a complete and accurate shipping address; monitoring tracking information; ensuring livestock can be retrieved promptly after delivery; opening and inspecting the shipment promptly; and following appropriate acclimation and post-shipping care procedures.

Miracle Aquatics is not responsible for delays or losses caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer or a customer's failure to retrieve a delivered shipment within a reasonable period.

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE & DOA POLICY

Last Updated: September 2026

Miracle Aquatics takes extensive care when preparing live coral and livestock for transportation. We stand behind the condition of our livestock when it leaves our care and provide a Live Arrival Guarantee subject to the requirements below.

What Is Considered DOA?

DOA means Dead on Arrival.

A coral or other livestock item must be deceased upon arrival to qualify as a DOA. Stress, temporary retraction, discoloration, closed polyps, mucus production, or other temporary signs associated with shipping do not necessarily mean that an animal is deceased.

If you are unsure about the condition of an animal, contact us immediately rather than discarding it.

Reporting a DOA

All DOA claims must be submitted to: miracleaquatics@gmail.com

Within 3 hours of the carrier-recorded delivery time.

The delivery time shown by the shipping carrier will be used to determine the beginning of the reporting period.

Claims submitted outside this window may be denied.

Required Proof

Your DOA email must include:

  • Your full name and order number
  • Clear photographs of the affected livestock
  • Clear photographs showing the livestock in its original shipping bag/container
  • Video when requested
  • Any additional photographs or information reasonably requested by Miracle Aquatics

Do not discard the animal or its original packaging until your claim has been reviewed.

Miracle Aquatics may request additional photographs or video before approving a claim.

Approved DOA Claims

No cash refunds are issued for livestock DOA claims.

For an approved DOA claim, Miracle Aquatics will provide store credit. Any store credit will be based on the purchase price actually paid for the affected livestock, excluding shipping.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

If a replacement is shipped separately, customer will pay the additional shipping charge. Unless specifically noted by Miracle Aquatics.

Situations Not Covered

DOA coverage may be denied when:

The customer does not submit the claim within the required reporting period; required photographic/video evidence is not provided; the livestock or packaging is discarded before the claim is resolved; an incorrect or incomplete shipping address was provided; the customer caused or requested a delivery delay; the package was not retrieved within a reasonable period after delivery; or loss occurred after successful delivery as a result of acclimation, aquarium conditions, compatibility, husbandry, lighting, flow, temperature, salinity, water chemistry, or other conditions outside Miracle Aquatics' control.

Miracle Aquatics reserves the right to review each DOA claim based on the documentation and circumstances surrounding the shipment.

Post-Shipping Care

A copy of Miracle Aquatics' DOA instructions and post-shipping care information may also be included with your shipment.

If something appears wrong when you open your order, photograph it first and contact us immediately.

RETURNS, REFUNDS & CANCELLATION POLICY

Last Updated: September 2026

Because Miracle Aquatics sells live coral and other livestock, our return and refund policies differ from those of retailers selling ordinary consumer goods.

Please review this policy before completing your purchase.

Live Livestock Sales

All livestock sales are final once shipped or picked up.

Live coral and other livestock cannot be physically returned after leaving Miracle Aquatics' care.

If livestock arrives deceased, do not attempt to return it. Please follow our Live Arrival Guarantee & DOA Policy.

No Refunds for Livestock Loss

Miracle Aquatics does not issue cash refunds for livestock that dies after successful delivery or pickup.

Once livestock has arrived alive and entered the customer's care, Miracle Aquatics cannot control aquarium conditions, acclimation, water chemistry, temperature, salinity, lighting, flow, placement, tank maturity, compatibility, husbandry, or other factors that affect animal health.

Qualifying DOA claims are handled exclusively according to our Live Arrival Guarantee.

If a replacement is shipped separately, customer will pay the additional shipping charge. Unless specifically noted by Miracle Aquatics.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled prior to being prepared or released for shipment. Once an order has been packed, shipped, or otherwise entered the fulfillment process, it cannot be canceled.

Any non-refundable payment processing fees incurred by Miracle Aquatics will be deducted from an approved cancellation.

Order Changes

Because many of our corals are individually listed specimens, changes to an order are subject to availability.

Please contact Miracle Aquatics as soon as possible if you need to request a change.

We cannot guarantee that an order can be modified once fulfillment has begun.

If Miracle Aquatics Cannot Fulfill an Item

Occasionally, Miracle Aquatics may determine before shipment that livestock is unhealthy, damaged, unavailable, or otherwise unsuitable for sale.

We will not knowingly ship an animal that we believe should not be shipped simply to fulfill an order.

If Miracle Aquatics is unable to provide an item you purchased, you will be contacted and offered a replacement, store credit, or refund.

Shipping Fees

Original shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped.

WYSIWYG & LIVESTOCK PRODUCT POLICY

Last Updated: September 2026

At Miracle Aquatics, many corals are sold as individual specimens rather than generic stock products.

What You See Is What You Get

Unless otherwise specifically stated, livestock displayed as a WYSIWYG ("What You See Is What You Get") product is the actual specimen the customer will receive.

Each individually listed specimen is assigned its own inventory record/SKU and is sold separately.

Once that specimen is sold, it is no longer available for purchase.

Coral Size & Head Count

Depending on coral type, listings may describe livestock by: Frag size • Overall size • Number of heads

Measurements and head counts are provided as accurately as reasonably possible at the time the livestock is listed.

Corals are living organisms and may grow or otherwise change between photography and fulfillment.

Photography & Color

We make reasonable efforts to represent our livestock accurately.

However, coral appearance can vary significantly under different lighting systems, spectrum settings, camera equipment, displays/screens, water conditions, viewing angles, and aquarium environments.

Photographs should therefore be considered a representation of the specimen under the conditions in which it was photographed, rather than a guarantee that it will appear identical under every aquarium or lighting setup.

Care Information

Product listings may include general recommendations concerning:

Lighting • Flow • Placement • Size • Other relevant care information

These recommendations are intended as general guidance. Individual aquarium systems vary, and customers remain responsible for researching and maintaining conditions appropriate for the livestock they purchase.

LIVESTOCK CARE & ACCLIMATION POLICY

Last Updated: September 2026

Proper acclimation and aquarium conditions are essential to the health of live coral and livestock.

Miracle Aquatics provides general care information to help customers make informed decisions, but every aquarium is different.

Customer Responsibility

Before purchasing livestock, customers are responsible for ensuring their aquarium is appropriately established and capable of supporting the species purchased.

Important factors may include:

Temperature, salinity, water chemistry, lighting, flow, placement, tank maturity, feeding requirements, compatibility, and appropriate acclimation.

Care Recommendations

Any lighting, flow, placement, difficulty, feeding, or other care recommendations provided by Miracle Aquatics are general recommendations rather than guarantees.

Individual aquarium conditions vary.

Miracle Aquatics cannot guarantee the continued survival, growth, coloration, or behavior of livestock once it has been successfully delivered or picked up and transferred into conditions outside our control.

If you have questions about caring for livestock purchased from us, contact Miracle Aquatics at miracleaquatics@gmail.com.

Product Availability

Livestock is subject to availability.

If Miracle Aquatics cannot fulfill an order, the customer will be contacted.

Pricing

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice before purchase.

The price confirmed at checkout applies to the transaction unless an obvious technical or pricing error has occurred.

Applicable sales taxes and shipping charges are calculated as required during checkout.

Refusal or Cancellation of Orders

Miracle Aquatics reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order when reasonably necessary because of suspected fraud, payment issues, inventory errors, livestock health concerns, shipping restrictions, or circumstances that make safe fulfillment impractical.

If Miracle Aquatics cancels an order before fulfillment, any amount owed back to the customer will be handled according to the applicable refund/cancellation terms.

Limitation Regarding Livestock Care

Miracle Aquatics cannot control aquarium conditions after livestock leaves our care.

Except for coverage expressly provided under our Live Arrival Guarantee or Local Pickup Policy, Miracle Aquatics does not guarantee livestock survival after successful delivery or pickup.
